The Volkswagen Golf24 race car was entered in the 2011 24 Hours of Nurburgring to commemorate the 35th anniversary of the Volkswagen Golf GTI. This version of the Golf featured race-spec modifications including a 4WD powertrain, front-mounted 440hp inline 5-cylinder turbocharged engine, and a dynamic form with fender flares and a rear wing.
This iconic German hatchback has been expertly fitted to Tamiya's proven and easy to assemble TT-01 Type-E chassis, which is ideal for hobbyists who enjoy building on-road touring car kits.
