NEW! Alfa's first Micro and it includes Motor, ESC, Battery and 2 Micro servos Alfa has long been known for its extensive line of great flying scale warbirds with wingspans of around 33". Now for the first time Alfa has produced a micro sized WWII P-51D with the scale detail and the flying character you would expect from a much larger model. In an other departure for Alfa, this airplane comes with the motor, prop, ESC, battery and 2 micro servos needed to complete the power system for this model. Also includes a set of waterslide decals with the option of choosing one of three authentic color schemes.
This model is not intended for beginners. Its flying character is strongly influenced by the final flying weight of the model. The included components are sized with this in mind and provide the level of power suitable for crisp flight and aerobatic performance. Unlike many aircraft in the micro category; this airplane has a semi-symmetrical main wing and a symmetric airfoil in the horizontal stabilizer, this allows a broad speed range and the handling you would expect from a larger model. The airplane is designed for outdoor use and it's not necessary to wait for a windless day to fly this little model.
Photo-illustrated instructions guide you quickly through the build process. It is not difficult, but some soldering is required. With a model this small care must be used to keep the weight down. We recommend that you balance the prop for smoothest performance. A micro Rx is a must.
