Standard RPM rod ends have always been quite versatile but the use of 3.5mm turnbuckles is quite popular. Since our standard rod ends have too small of a hole for the larger turnbuckle to thread into properly, we decided to make it easier for our customers by releasing these 3.5mm Heavy Duty Rod Ends that allow the use of larger than stock 3.5mm turnbuckles while still using a standard 4.3mm (.170") diameter ball stud, common to most 1/10th scale Losi, Associated and some HPI vehicles. Now anyone can run a stronger 3.5mm turnbuckle size without having to sacrifice strength or durability with an inferior rod end!
RPM 3.5mm Heavy Duty Rod Ends are molded in a light gray color, sold in sets of 12 per package and are factory-backed by our industry-leading lifetime warranty.
Tech Notes: RPM 3.5mm Heavy Duty Rod Ends are designed for use with 3.5mm (.137") diameter turnbuckles and 4.3mm (.170") diameter ball studs. They will not work with oversized ball studs such as HPI's 4.8mm versions.
