This tiny LiPO (Lithium Polymer) battery alarm works with 3S (3-cell) LiPO battery packs. Battery status is provided by bright LED's and audio alert.
When the battery voltage is too low the alarm beeps and the LED flashes. To use this with a wireless video camera, a clever idea is to put the alarm within the camera's view to see the LED status. If there's a microphone on the video camera you can hear the alert beeps too.
The alarm can be connected to the LiPO pack's balancing port or you can connect it to the main power leads. We provide a 4-pin connector (soldering required) that mates with the balance port plug found on our 3S LiPO packs. But even if it doesn't fit your pack's balancing port, you can easily connect it to the main power leads or any convenient location where the battery voltage can be found.
