As you might have guessed from the name, the Sig Sauer P226 is made almost entirely of metal and is the exact weight of a real fully loaded P226. The only plastics you?ll find on the outside of this gun are the textured grips that come complete with Sig Sauer logos.
Squeeze the trigger and the P226 jumps back in your hand as the slide recoils with a metallic ring. For a full metal gun the slide cycles extremely fast giving the gun crisp recoil. At 310 fps, the P226 packs a punch and has respectable long range performance and accuracy thanks mostly to the guns heavy weight and tight fitting components. The craftsmanship on the Sig Sauer P226 is exceptional, with an extremely smooth trigger pull and slide cycle. The P226 has realistic features, like the functional decocker and white dot combat sights. This tactical version comes equipped with a 14mm CCW threaded muzzle for attaching a mock suppressor or tracer unit and also features a railed frame which can accept most flashlights and laser sights.
