NEW! Beautiful Balsa 52" WW1 fighter - Intro Price $224.99...
The Albatros D.Va is a great flying WW1 airplane suitable for intermediate to advanced modelers. The 52" wingspan and 723sq.in. of wing area make the airplane easy to see and a joy to fly. The all up weight is less than 4 pounds with a 3-cell 2100mAh lipo battery. Construction is all balsa and ply and the covering is heat shrink film with all decorations pre-applied. Lots of scale details; dual air cooled machine guns, exposed engine cylinders and exhaust, scale wheels, tough aluminum telescoping landing gear, flying wires with adjustable turnbuckles. The updated large spinner has an aluminum back plate and a vacuformed spinner dome. Some careful balancing is required to obtain maximum performance from the airplane. A prop balancer is recommended. The general assembly is pretty straightforward and should not present any challenges to the experienced modeler. A color manual is available on our website with clear instructions and good photos of the rigging of the flying wires. Requires a 4-channel radio system and 3 micro and 1 standard size servo. We recommend our eRC25A motor with an eRC045SB speed control and an APC 12x6 E prop for your power package. Our Powerwing 2100mAh 3-cell is a good battery choice.
