The Armstrong Whitworth F.K.10 was a unique design that never went into full production, it was intended as a 2 seat fighter and light bomber/recconasance aircraft but proved to be inferior to succesful designs already in service. The whole concept of quadruplane's was fairly shortlived but the F.K.10 featured some interesting design features, particularly the all moving tail.....eventually the key to supersonic flight!
This fantastic looking H-King F.K.10 is made from tough EPO foam and has been superbly finished in a realistic paint scheme complete with authentic waterslide decals. The pre-installed 9g servo's, 35mm Brushless Motor and 30A ESC certainly help to speed up assembly but it would be fair to say that the build is slightly more involved than a monoplane! Like the full size aircraft, this fantastic looking model has some unique features, first is the very scale all-moving tail, just like the real thing, which is mounted on a carbon rod and support by bearings and struts at each end, secondly is the bayonet fitting cowl, a very simple but effective way to install the ...
