This large size Yak 55M was designed with hardcore 3D in mind, evident by its massive control surfaces, proper airfoiled wing and ultra-durable EPP foam construction. This model is perfect for honing your 3D skills as it can really take a beating if you have any "dumb thumb" moments!
The two piece wing is easily removable and simply retained from inside the fuselage with rubber bands. This makes it very easy to disassemble for transport and storage. The wing halves are joined with a cabon fiber spar offering rigidity and weight savings. Additionally there are two carbon spars in each wing for additional strength. The large tail fins both feature carbon reinforcement to eliminate any flex.
The canopy is held in place by strong magnets and is easily removable for access to the electronics and for quick battery changes. The built-up fuse offers plenty of room for a wide range of battery sizes and radio equipment.
