Size matters no matter what they say.....and that also applies to trainers! The Hornet fits very nicely into the "club" trainer catagory and ticks all the right boxes in terms of practicality & durability.
Construction is traditional semi sheeted light-ply/balsa which offers a combination of low weight and strength. The covering is printed to give a bright scheme which is great for orientation while the high gloss finish makes for easy cleaning and excellent durability. The Hornet is supplied with a very comprehensive hardware kit that includes a fuel tank & engine mount for those wishing to go for glow power and also a ply motor mount for those wishing to go electric, the model also features a quick release front battery hatch for EP. The supplied hardware kit also includes an alloy spinner, heavy duty & anodised clevis and pushrods, etc. The Hornet is very practical & features plug in wings for easy transportation and field assembly as well as a bolt on tail assembly, the model also features robust main piano wire tricycle under-carriage (for those less than perfect arrivals) rubber tires and a steerable ...
