The A-4 Skyhawk is a delta winged, carrier-capable, ground-attack aircraft designed for the US Navy. It was used by the Blue Angels between 1974 and 1986; they are the US Navy's Navy Flight Demonstration Squadron. The A-4 has a powerful brushless motor and a 55mm fan, this is a smaller fan than our other jets, and is an ideal entry level into the world of model jet piloting.
The Douglas A-4 Skyhawk is a delta winged, carrier-capable, ground-attack aircraft designed for the United States Navy and U.S. Marine Corps. Fifty years after the aircraft's first flight, and having played key roles in conflict including the Falkland's War, some of the nearly 3,000 Skyhawks produced remain in service.
The A-4 Skyhawk was used by the Blue Angels between 1974 and 1986. The Blue Angels are the US Navy's Navy Flight Demonstration Squadron; they first performed in 1946 and are currently the world's oldest flying aerobatic team. The striking blue and yellow planes are supremely capable, aerobatic performers.

Starmax have produced an excellent replica of the A-4 in these stunning Blue Angel colours. The EPO foam fuselage is both strong and extremely light, designed to withstand the occasional crash landing. The authentic decals finish off the look and you are presented with a fantastic looking model.
The A-4 has a powerful brushless motor and a 55mm fan, this is a smaller fan than our other jets, and is an ideal entry level into the world of model jet piloting. Despite its smaller fan, the Skyhawk is no slouch and this model is capable of 90mph!
This Nitrotek jet comes with a 2.4G radio which means the range is longer and more stable plus you do not have to worry about interference from other fliers. It is also equipped with a powerful brushless motor, for the best performance. The plane is made from strong but lightweight foam that is more resistant to crashes and gives easier stable flight even in windy conditions. This aeroplane can take off from the ground or can be hand launched.
The delta wing design and lightweight fuselage enable this aeroplane to be supremely manoeuverable and in the right hands will take your breath away with the 3D aerobatics it can pull off. Stunts the A-4 is capable of include: inside loops, outside loops, axial rolls, inverted flight, knife edge, stall turns, hammerheads, and spins are all possible. If you're really good you will be able to perform the famous 'Cobra Manoeuvre' with your A-4.
This plane is 90% assembled and so only a few minutes of final finishes are needed before you can fly. Also everything you need is in the box, apart from 8 AA batteries, which you'll need to power the radio contol transmitter.
The A-4 is also available in a grey colour scheme, for those who prefer a more military look and feel to their model
aircraft, whatever colour you choose, they both have the same awesome power and handling.
