The Kob is designed to be the ultimate entry level helicopter into the world of professional rc helicopter flight, parts like the skids and tail have been reinforced making it more forgiving in a crash but should anything the focus has been on simplifying the build as much as possible by making all parts accessible without having to strip the whole model. 2.4Ghz Version
New for 2010 is the E-Sky Kob. The Kob is designed to be the ultimate entry level helicopter into the world of professional rc helicopter flight. Every part of the helicopter has been carefully thought out by industry leaders E-Sky to make both flying and maintenance as easy as possible. The focus has been on simplifying the build as much as possible by making all parts accessible without having to strip the whole model. The co-axial blade system along with the high spec electronics, gyro and digital servos makes flying much easier and stable for beginners. Should you have a crash though and break something this simplified design will mean repair times will be much shorter allowing you spend more time flying and less time fixing. Everything you need to start flying is in the box including all batteries chargers and cables.
Although this helicopter has been designed for easy flight it is still a high spec full function model. The 4 in 1 controller has a built in gyro, receiver, ESC and mixer that all work to give more control and make flight more stable. The battery is a 800mAh li-polymer which gives more power and flight time than standard batteries. Even digital servos have been used which give very precise control and allows you to fly the helicopter exactly where you want it to go.
The Kob comes with a high spec E-Sky 4ch transmitter. You can choose between the Mhz version with changeable frequency crystals or the Ghz version which does not require different crystals to be used with other models in the same area. This handset has a massive 1000m+ range and allows precise 3D control of the helicopter. It also features a training switch that means it can be connected to another E-Sky handset when learning so that at any time control can be passed to the other handset that can be in the hands of an experienced flyer. The sim port means it can be connected to a computer with the included cable and you can get some flight time on the simulator before flying the real thing.
