This cover is made from thin circuit board which will be soldered directly to the edge of the MKGPS1 board.
The side panels are soldered together and the whole cover is soldered to the edge of the MKGPS board. This will create a much better ground plane for the GPS antenna and increases the GPS reception and accuracy by increasing the signal to noise ratio.
1 x GPS Shield board
- 0.5mm thickness, black soldermaks on both sides
Note
This is a kit, not a final product. About 10-20 minutes of work is still required to fnish this board. Most of the components are surface mounted and already assembled.
