This is the Estes Sky Twister Kit E2X. This set is an E2X, or Easy to Assemble, which means it only takes a few minutes to snap together the majority of the rocket. This type of rocket set is excellent for beginner rocket builders who want to experience building a model rocket, but don't want to stress too much over the assembly.
The Estes Sky Twister Kit E2X has model rocket motors included in the set, but also features a dual recovery system. Once the rocket is launched, the rocket motor ejects the parachute, and the nose cone separates from the body tube. The body of the rocket floats down using a 12” parachute, while the nose cone utilizes a helicopter recovery system.
