The new FLIP 360 is designed to be an extremely portable FPV machine. It is small and light, yet will accept 28mm motors and 8" props for aggressive flying. We designed the frame to be as small as physically possible, slimming down the center plates as much as possible to reduce drag, while still being able to carry a gopro with real authority... aggressive climbouts, flips, and the type of flying we love to do.
The camera and flight controller plates ride on anti-vibration mounts for jello free high resolution video.
The built in gopro mount will accept all models of gopro. The camera can be installed into it's protective mounting in seconds without the use of tools, rubber bands, or velcro.
In addition the frame has the ability to fold, and will easily fit into a back pack. This makes it easier to store and transport than a smaller (mini sized) fixed arm frame.
The arm folding method is not a friction fit. The arms are locked in position when opened and will not fold unexpectedly on impact, etc. Stainless thumb screws are included for those who would like the ability to fold the frame without tools.
The arms are solid G10, like like the FLIP FPV PRO.
