V-Bar Overview:, Get rid of the flybar and all its associated mechanical parts in the rotor head of your helicopter - now this entire system can be replaced by an electronic set-up, the Virtual Flybar System (V-Bar). By clicking very few parameters in a software module, pilots can control the flight properties of their model in a very simple and effective manner. In 3D flying, the use of the V-Bar system expands the flight envelope: Compared to conventional, mechanical, rotor heads, the V-Bar system reacts much quicker and with much more agility. It is less susceptible to unwanted effects from gusts of wind. The New VBar Silverline uses a new sensor technology, which uses three sensor elements that are the only ones on the market specially designed and adapted for the use in real model helicopters.
The Sensors are manufactured by the Company Silicon Sensings and use a osillating ring structure for the detection of rates in opposite to the known sensors that have only one or two osillating masses.
The symmetric design and 8 separate sensing devices inside the sensor give a perfect balance of the system, which enables to detect smallest rotational movements even in high vibration environments. This gives us the advantage to mount the sensor very stiff at the frame, so it detects smallest movements very quick without getting disturbed by the vibrations.
Every heli produces lots of vibrations if it is rotates quickly around the axes. This is fairly normal but can create a certain drift in the other sensor elements which gives a slight cross coupling through the axes. The new sensor gives advantages not only in nitros or turbine helis, but on dynamically moved 3D helis as well!
The result is a very easy to use sensor with nice hovering performance, best possible vibration resistance and an superior dynamic behavior if flown in hard 3D. The full advantage will be available with the upcoming 5.3 Firmware release of the VBar which will be available soon.
Get rid of the flybar and go to an entire new dimension of flying! The VBar system is an electronic gyro system for three axes, including a tail rotor gyro.

Digital operation means maximal control and ultimate precision! This is also true for scale models with multi-blade rotor heads. A scale pilot can set the parameters so that the heli performs very stable reacts more sluggishly. This is advantage for inexperienced novices. You can reach a new dimension of performance even in fast forward or backward flight.
A further highlight of the VBar is its integrated Heading Hold tail rotor gyro. It has excellent stopping behavior and very constant cyclic and tail rate in any wind condition.

The full size silverline V-Bar will include Version 5.3 Express software.
The full size V-Bar does have provisions for a Nitro governor feature, however, the governor can ONLY be used with the Pro version software. It will not work with Express software.
Software to run the governor will be available for download shortly after release and will be included in a free update patch for the Pro software.
