GY520 Gyro w/Heading Hold
Introducing the smallest, lightest heading hold heli gyro in the world. How does a heli gyro smaller than a postage stamp perform? If it's the GY520, the answer is "brilliantly." In tiny electrics and .90-size 3D aerobats. With analog servos as easily as digital servos. And on about one-tenth the current other gyros require.
There's no amp, no control box - just a tiny, ten gram square that's 6 grams lighter than any heading hold gyro around. It blends the superior tail-holding power of AVCS design with new sensors so sensitive that response is effectively instantaneous. And for fine-tuning, there are seven programmable features and three ways to set them.
The GY520 Gyro. The new state-of-the-art in gyro technology - and the newest member of the best-selling GY Gyro series.
Ultra small and light weight gyro contained in one unit-no separate sensor and control unit.
Utilizes a high speed advanced PID (Proportional-Integral-Derivative) control algorithm.
Latest MEMS (Micro-Electro-Mechanical Systems) allows complete control system on one chip.
Compatible with digital and analog servos.
F3C and 3D mode selectable.
Operates at very high speed; 280Hz in the 1250uS mode and 506Hz in the 760uS mode.
Programmable through single button and multi-color LED or through a PC using Futaba CIU-2 USB adapter.
Registered AVCS (Angular Velocity Control System) architecture achieves unmatched tail holding ability.
