Features / Specifications:, ,
This R/C system activated video switch allows you to remotely choose between two composite video cameras. Ideal for hobby FPV and robotic type wireless video applications. Compatible with composite video (NTSC and PAL) camera systems.
The video switch simply plugs into your R/C receiver, just like a servo. There are 3-pin headers (compatible with servo style connectors) for the two cameras and wireless video transmitter.
It works with many popular R/C systems (JR/Futaba/Airtronics/Hitec/etc). The R/C system can use any spare servo channel that is controlled by a switch, stick, or knob. Whenever the R/C signal's pulse is less than 1.4 mS (low stick) the first camera is selected. When the R/C pulse is > 1.6mS (high stick) the second camera is selected. If the R/C receiver's servo signal is missing/invalid it automatically switches to the main camera as a safety precaution.
The video switch emulates a common SPDT relay and is solid state (not a mechanical relay) to ensure reliable operation. For superior noise immunity the video signal circuitry is optically isolated from the R/C control circuitry. Because the switch has very high video signal bandwidth there is no reduction in video performance or image quality.
