Most important changes:, - Screw-mechanism instead of the snapping mechanism (details see below), All functions together:, , Screw-Mechanism for a complete protection and a stable mounting:, With version 1 there was a snapping mechanism which was also responsible for the name. The mechanism was very easy to use, but has proven to be not as secure as i wanted it to be. There have been crashes reported where the front plate just flew off, which drastically reduces the safety of your GoPro. The search was long for the best mounting option, but finally a screwing solution has proven to be best. By using specially designed knurled screws, the GoPro can be removed just as easy on the field as with the snapping mechanism, and no tools are needed. There is no open side, which means the GoPro is completely safe inside and can't fall out. Also you do not need any rubber or zip-tie to close it., :, The housing comes with everything you need to install one of the widely available replacement lenses (for the skeleton-housing). It does not need to be glued in, but instead is being hold perfectly tight by 3 nylon screws. This way the lens can be used in different front-plates and/or housings., :, By using 3 countersunk screws and some of the multiple mounting holes, the housing can be mounted very flexible on almost anything., :, "Snap" can be easily installed/uninstalled on the Eyefly frames. This way you can quickly change between different cameras if needed., The special thing: The GoPro can be mounted, so that the lens indeed is really in the middle of the frame, not "a bit" tending to one side (which looks stupid on video)., :, The front-plate allows the usage of different front-plates for different use-cases.
